Homework & Prep Week 1

Here are the links you will need to complete your Homework and Prep this week.

Homework is ALWAYS due for the Final Lesson of the week.

Task 1. This week you need to make a strong start completing 50% of your allocated Development Task as a production group. You are simply presenting the content of your group’s booklets.

Student 1: Genre (Sub-genre, Stock Characters, History of Iconic Horrors, All Booklet Theories)
Student 2: Textual Analysis (Film Crits and Trailer Content Analysis, Posters & Magazines)
Student 3: Website Build, Evaluation of Summer Trailers, Concepts & Final Pitch

If in a group of 4 then you will need to split Student 1s work into 2

Task 2: 30 mins timed essay on Genre "How does the concept of genre apply to your Trailer?" (Analysis & Theory 10; Examples 10; Theory Terminology 5 marks)

PREP: Prep Work: individually choose a synopsis and read the script. 
Select one that appeals and is practicable.
Print and annotate the screenplay to identify the key stock scenes and Horror moments, as well as key plot points for the Trailer. 
You will present and pitch your film next week to camera and be assessed.
