Mini Teach 3: Content Analysis
Examine the Trailers in the booklet for structural conventions of scenes, cinematography and edit conventions. In particular the use of
- Jump Scares
- Supernatural effects
- Dragging off into shadows
- Off camera stares and 'reveals'
- Sound Booms on Title slates
- Use of shadow or camera positioning to conceal threat
Booklet Deadline: Individual Completion of the Booklets Analysis of Trailers, Crit of 3 Films, Information on Key Films and Treatment to be completed by 11th September
