7. Development Concept (1 each with evaluation of feedback)

CONCEPTS

out of the four concepts that we had within our group, two of them were chosen to be presented to the rest of the class. as a group, we decided what two concepts should be presented to the class based of the general story line and how easy it would be to film; we went with Philip and Sophie's concepts. after they had been presented to the class, a vote took place where the class were to choose between 'the bite down' and 'I hear you'. after that, we got feedback for both concepts on the positives and possible areas for improvement from the other four teams in our class.

FEEDBACK

Positives:
Negatives:
  • the idea was well thought out
  • good and relevant title
  • the props and costume for the film trailer were well planned and suited the genre well
  • the film trailer can easily be shot in college
  • the costumes were logical
  • the general idea is intriguing
  • the story line is very typical
  • it looks like the story is based more around love than horror; more horror needs to be incorporated
  • the story needs more development
  • very similar to the 'twilight' movies which are not in the horror genre.
  • the story line needs work
  • cliche
